I live the agricultural and community life. Raised on land that has been in my family for over 135 years, I left for college and returned to keep my roots right here in Weston County. I'm married with two wonderful children, and I'm lucky enough to have one I work with every day here in the insurance department. The other will graduate from high school in a couple of years.  I have helped organize or led local events, fundraisers, committees, and more.  I am grateful for having lived in the northeast corner of this great state. I will forever call Wyoming home.

A lifelong Wyoming resident, I have spent decades building a reputation for my dedication as a real estate professional. Raised on my grandfather’s ranch and attending a country school, I developed a strong sense of community, a strong work ethic, and a deep connection to the land. After graduating from Newcastle High School in 1969, I pursued pre-veterinary studies at Sheridan College before working at a feedlot in Provo, South Dakota.

I soon decided I wanted to return home and to the ranch. My family and I started a ranch supply/feed store, and I earned my real estate license at that time. In 1983, I fulfilled my lifelong dream of owning a ranch. I began running both registered and commercial Angus cattle and even selling ranch-raised beef. In 2002, I decided to downsize my operations and simultaneously began my real estate career again.

I joined Shawnda at A-1 Agency Real Estate in 2008, where I earned a reputation as a dedicated, reliable, and highly knowledgeable agent. Over the years, I have sold everything from ranches to homes and commercial properties. I provide clients with exceptional service, based on years of personal experience and a strong understanding of Wyoming’s unique real estate market. I am known for my integrity, honesty, and tireless work ethic. I ensure that every client, whether buying, selling, or investing, feels informed and supported throughout each step of the process.

My commitment goes beyond closing deals; I am dedicated to my clients’ success and satisfaction, consistently aiming to exceed expectations and foster lasting relationships. With years of experience in both residential and commercial real estate, I bring a unique blend of market knowledge, professionalism, and personal dedication to every client I serve. My real estate journey after my military service began in Colorado, working in residential and REO properties, before a career in finance sharpened my business skills. After moving to Wyoming in 2013, I returned to my passion for real estate—first as an assistant, and soon as a licensed agent with A-1 Agency Real Estate—helping clients navigate transactions with confidence and ease.

My approach is simple: educate, guide, and make every real estate experience as smooth as possible. Whether working with first-time homebuyers, seasoned investors, or long-time residents. I’m known for my deep knowledge of the area, personable nature, and commitment to being available when clients need me most.

Living and working in Newcastle, on the edge of Wyoming’s Black Hills, gives me an insider’s perspective on the community, its neighborhoods, and the lifestyle it offers. I love the friendly people, the beauty of all four seasons, and the unique character of the Black Hills. Outside of work, I’m involved in local cat rescue efforts, community fundraisers, and events that bring our town together. My husband works for the county, my three children all graduated from Newcastle High School, two are working locally, and one is now abroad.  My parents recently moved in with us—making our ties to the community stronger than ever.
